October is almost over, and what a busy month it’s been for the Texas Chiropractic Association. There’s been a common theme: Community and Connection. It started with Parker Seminars Dallas at the beginning of the month. TCA was thrilled to be at Parker Homecoming as an exhibitor. A big thank you to the hundreds who dropped by the TCA booth, including Parker alumni and students. We signed up new members and, just as importantly, were able to chat with our current members and let them know they are valued.A few weeks later, TCA Clays for Chiros took center stage, and we had a huge crowd out for our first sporting clays event in the DFW area. It was a gorgeous day at Elm Fork Shooting Sports, and while some of our shooters were off the mark, we hit our main target: bringing together the chiropractic community for a day of fun and camaraderie. Many thanks to all of our incredible sponsors, particularly Anderson Injury Lawyers, Avalon Imaging, Neuro Performance and Injury Center and SOAR (Awards and Lunch Sponsors); SCV Law Firm (Ammunition Sponsor); and MRI Centers of Texas (Cart Sponsor). TCA Vice President Dr. Korey Rose talked smack, but he backed it up as his team, The Sandbaggers, grabbed first place. If you missed it, join us at TCA Clays for Chiros in San Antonio next spring! Finally, we just wrapped up the 2026 TCA Tour of Texas in Southlake, with the best turnout of the year. TCA’s road show across the Lone Star State would not be possible without TCA Platinum Partner J.D. Silva & Associates, which sponsored stops in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Lubbock, McAllen, and San Antonio this year. Kudos to Johnathan Silva and his crew for giving us a vehicle to increase awareness about TCA and raise funds for the Chiropractic Development Initiative (CDI). TCA appreciates everyone who donated to CDI in Southlake and who showed up at all of our TCA Tour of Texas events this year.TCA takes our charge to protect, preserve and promote chiropractic in Texas seriously, and being YOUR advocate remains our No. 1 priority. However, we are also YOUR community. TCA Past President Dr. Tyce Hergert noted that his involvement in TCA has been the key to his success, connecting him with like-minded chiropractors who share his laser focus and unwavering love for the profession. So, if you’re a TCA member, get involved, show up at TCA events, and build your chiropractic network. As we approach the final months of the year, TCA is making some major changes to your TCA membership in 2027. Stay tuned for announcements soon! Wishing you the best!Jeff Jenkins, CAETCA Executive Director
