For those of you unfamiliar with National Chiropractic Health Month, TCA joins forces with the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) each year to feature our incredible profession and the positive impact you have on your patients and communities. This year’s theme is Chiropractic: Joint Efforts, highlighting how chiropractic services can support joint health and function, contributing to more movement, better health, and enhanced quality of life. TCA encourages Texas chiropractors to spread the word by requesting a proclamation in your city. It’s still not too late … but don’t procrastinate!! Check out our CHM resources page and the Texas proclamation template. Then go online to find out your city’s requirements to get a proclamation approved. Most of the time, it’s a simple process. If the proclamation happens, invite local chiropractors in your city to the proclamation ceremony or set up a group photo. It’s a prime opportunity to get to know your fellow DCs. Garland was the first Texas city to issue a Chiropractic Health Month proclamation. Way to go! Others include Austin, Bastrop, Jarrell, La Porte, Leander, Little Elm, Mesquite, Nacogdoches, Round Rock, Taylor, and The Colony. The list will grow in the coming weeks, thanks to you! Once your proclamation is approved, please email us at events@chirotexas.org with the details. Don’t forget to send us any photos, and we will share them on our socials. Chiropractic Health Month isn’t the only thing happening this month. TCA is excited to be at Parker Seminars Dallas 2026 this weekend for Parker Homecoming. Drop by the TCA booth to say hi and find out what’s up with TCA. We are only two weeks away from TCA Clays for Chiros DFW on Saturday, October 17, at Elm Fork Shooting Sports in Dallas. There is time to register your team or sign up individually, but the deadline is Tuesday, October 6. Visit the website for more details or reach out to the TCA office at (512) 477-9292. As always, check out TCA calendar for events in your area. Hope to see you there!
