April is officially TCA Membership Month, and for the next few weeks, the Texas Chiropractic Association will be celebrating our incredible members. Last week, we had the privilege of meeting many of them during the TCA West Texas Conference in Lubbock. It was awesome spending time with chiropractors from the Panhandle and surrounding areas. This has ALWAYS been the place where this community gathers to earn CE hours and, more importantly, reconnect with long-time friends and get to know new colleagues. It has a “family reunion” type vibe, and it’s why I love going to Hub City year after year. A big thank you to our attendees, both in-person and virtual, as well as our West Texas Conference sponsors and exhibitors who generously support TCA. We couldn’t do it without you! TCA will travel across the state a few times this month, starting with our April 16 TCA Tour of Texas event in Houston, a long-overdue April 23 District 9 Social in Lufkin, in addition to several district meetings. Our TCA calendar can seem full at times, but it’s because we feel it’s important to meet in real life to build up our community. As part of TCA Membership Month, we are reinforcing the value of TCA membership. Texas chiropractors join TCA for different reasons, whether it’s advocacy, continuing education, practice growth, referrals, career opportunities, and networking with like-minded chiropractors. For 30 days, we also are highlighting members, leadership, and partners who share a deep love for chiropractic and appreciate what TCA continues to do for our profession. While it’s important to live in the present, there is some value in looking back in the past to see how far TCA and chiropractic have come. Check out the latest video from TCA Vice President Dr. Andrew Oteo about the history of Texas chiropractic. After more than a decade as your TCA Executive Director, I have seen this association rise to the challenge time after time. Watching this video fills me with pride, and we hope you feel the same way. During TCA Membership Month, I have one favor to ask. Why keep your TCA membership a secret? Share why you are a TCA member and how it has benefited you and your career and post on social media. Even better, encourage your fellow chiropractors to get on board and become a TCA member. Imagine what we could achieve if more chiropractors were actively engaged. Finally, let’s celebrate TCA Membership Month every month. And the best place to do that is Chiro Texpo ’26, our Texas state convention on June 26-28 at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin. It is going to be an epic weekend, and you need to be there! Don’t procrastinate … REGISTER NOW! On behalf of our TCA Board of Directors and the entire leadership team, thank you for being a member! With gratitude, Jeff Jenkins, CAE TCA Executive Director
