One of the greatest perks of being your TCA President is traveling the state to meet with my fellow chiropractors, and occasionally that takes me outside the Lone Star State. Last month, the Texas Chiropractic Association was well-represented at the 75th Anniversary Parker Seminars Las Vegas – Kairos, the world’s biggest chiropractic event. Parker University generously provided TCA with a booth to allow us to connect with Texas chiropractors and Parker alumni. The sessions were incredible, and it’s impossible to top Parker’s mainstage speakers like entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk and physician/scientist/best-selling author William W. Li, MD. It was fun spending time in the exhibit hall meeting with vendors offering products and services to take our practice to the next level. A big thank you Parker President Dr. Bill Morgan and his Parkers Seminars team for putting on an exceptional event and your wonderful hospitality. In the coming months, I’ll be staying closer to home, starting with the 2026 TCA West Texas Conference next week, March 27-28 in Lubbock. We have a quality speaker line-up, anchored by Dr. Corey Campbell of the Motion Palpation Institute, and panel discussions on integrated practices and sports chiropractic. There’s still time to register or you can sign up on-site. West Texas is hybrid, so you have the option to attend in-person or virtually. If your renewal date is coming up soon and you need CE hours, what are you waiting for? I’m also excited about the D3 TCA Tour of Texas/Night Out at GolfSuites Lubbock. Come for gamified golf, dinner and networking, courtesy of sponsor J.D. Silva & Associates. RSVP now to save your spot and bring a guest with you! But TCA’s signature event – and my final event as TCA President – is Chiro Texpo ’26, June 26-28 at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin. We’re billing our state convention as The ATX Experience, celebrating our capital city’s unique culture. As usual, you can complete your CE hours in one action-packed weekend at Chiro Texpo, including TBCE, Medicare, and acupuncture hours. We are featuring big-name experts like the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress’ Dr. Sherry McAllister, the Carrick Institute’s Dr. Matthew Antonucci, neurology expert Dr. Monika Buerger, and popular speakers like Dr. Tim Bertlesman and Dr. Benjamin Fergus. If you don’t want to sit through lectures, take advantage of hands-on training in our Adjust Lab – something that makes Chiro Texpo truly special. Bring along your chiropractic assistant and staff for world-class training to take your practice to the next level. Personally, my favorite parts of Chiro Texpo are the Texpo Exhibit Hall to visit with our incredible vendors and the President’s Gala to celebrate those who work so hard to protect, preserve, and promote chiropractic in our state. Don’t procrastinate, register for Chiro Texpo now! In between, we are launching our first Clays for Chiros event on May 2 in San Antonio. If you’re into sporting clays, you don’t want to miss it! Check out our TCA calendar for upcoming district events. So much to look forward to, and we hope to see you there! Finally, it’s been such an honor serving as your TCA President, and I look forward to pushing the envelope over the next few months until my term ends this summer. Thank you for your support!
