Rick Cazares, DC, graduated from Parker University in December 2004. Before attending Parker, Dr. Cazares participated in amateur bodybuilding. He also enjoyed changing many lives as a personal trainer in El Paso. Dr. Cazares owns and operates RC Chiropractic in El Paso, where he has helped countless individuals with his chiropractic techniques. He specializes in personal injury, with a primary focus of caring for patients suffering from whiplash to back pain. He is passionate about chiropractic and serves as TCA District 1 State Director. At this stage of his career, he is enjoying the entrepreneurial side of his profession. Dr. Cazares and his wife, Patty, co-own two businesses and work great together. They love to cycle, swim, hike, work out, play pickleball and travel the world. He is the father of two adult children. How long have you been a TCA member and why did you join TCA? I’ve been a member for less than one year. I decided to finally join because I wanted to make a difference in defending our beloved profession. What is your favorite thing about being a TCA member? I love the positive, loving TCA environment. I have been welcomed into TCA leadership. Why did you decide to serve as TCA District 1 State Director and what do you hope to achieve in your leadership role? I wanted to learn more about TCA, but the reason I became a leader is because TCA has saved our butts many times. I hope to become more knowledgeable about TCA and get more of my colleagues in West Texas actively involved in the association. Who has been the biggest influence in your chiropractic career? TCA Past President Dr. Bill Lawson paved the way for me. He’s been a big inspiration. What is your chiropractic philosophy and how do you implement it in your practice? It’s simple: to assist in the healing process of each patient via chiropractic treatment. What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know about you? I am silly and do great impressions of people
