So much for a summer vacation! Three of the past four weekends were all about chiropractic, with Chiro Texpo ’25, the Texas Chiropractic College Convention, and the TCA Summer Leadership Retreat all on the calendar. While it was awesome to connect with TCA members and other Texas chiropractors at the first two events, our annual retreat has the potential to have the biggest impact on the profession. TCA leaders from across the state gathered to kick off the planning process for the next year, in addition to developing a new strategic plan for the future. While I have been in the Executive Director’s role for the better part of a decade (in two stints, as many of you know), I have seldom been more inspired by a group of leaders. Your current TCA Executive Officers – President Dr. Don White, Vice President Dr. Andrew Oteo, and Secretary/Treasurer Dr. Korey Rose – are a bunch of “young guns” who will accept nothing but success. Our execs radiate energy and excitement, and they truly care about TCA and all Texas chiropractors. That positivity and purpose has been absorbed by the entire leadership group, including the Board of Directors and our committee leaders. The meetings were lively, and plenty of creative ideas were shared. Much appreciation to our Leadership Retreat Sponsors, Blueprint to Practice Automation, Chiropractors Resource, and J.D. Silva & Associates! So, why should you care about what happened at our retreat? Well, it means seismic changes are coming to TCA … and very soon! Be on the lookout for a new TCA mobile app – which will allow you to be in the know and connected to TCA from your cell phone. And that’s just the beginning, so stay tuned for updates! Summer is going fast, but Team TCA isn’t on a break. There are lots of district mixers coming up, in addition to TCA Tour of Texas stops in Austin and San Antonio and our Comedy for Chiros comedy show in Houston. Check out the TCA calendar to see what is on the horizon. Enjoy your summer, and we look forward to seeing you at a TCA event very soon! Jeff Jenkins, CAE TCA Executive Director/COO
