Executive Director’s Message Finally, 2025 is here. The Texas Chiropractic Association thanks you for being part of the TCA community. We’re nothing without our incredible members. It’s not too early to start mapping out your year, and TCA hopes to be part of your plan. Here are three things to keep in mind: 1. Get your CE hours with TCA. As a Texas licensee, you’re probably wondering where you should go to complete your 16 hours. There are plenty of options, but please consider the TCA. We have two conferences planned – the 2025 TCA West Texas Conference (March 28-30) in Lubbock and Chiro Texpo ’25 (June 27-29) in Frisco. West Texas is a hybrid event, so you can complete your hours in person or online. Chiro Texpo, our state convention, is in-person only, but you want to be there to take advantage of 2 ½ days of hands-on training in the Adjust Lab as well as get elite chiropractic education from some of the country’s leading experts. At both events, you can check off your TBCE and acupuncture, and we’re pleased to reintroduce the popular DIANM courses where you can earn a diplomate through the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. If you’re thinking about attending either conference, you may want to upgrade your membership to Premium or Elite to save money off your registration fees. 2. Join us at TCA Legislative Day. By now, you should know that TCA Legislative Day, our big advocacy event, is Thursday, March 6, in Austin. It’s a legislative year in Texas and, with your help, TCA has an opportunity to make serious inroads for chiropractic in the Lone Star State. TCA’s legislative team is championing several bills that could help your practice and expand access to chiropractic for all Texans. We need you in Austin … there is strength in numbers and your elected officials pay attention when you show up. Participate in meetings with your Texas representative and senator and let’s tell our story. It’s a big sacrifice to close your practice for a day, but it’s worth it! Register today! 3. Give the gift of membership! If you’re a TCA member, thank you for supporting YOUR state association, but we need to grow our membership to be a bigger force in Texas health care. Sign up your associates and staff to be members and encourage your colleagues to join and get involved. This would give TCA the resources it needs to be more effective and fight for you and your patients. Reach out to the TCA office at (512) 477-9292 or tca@chirotexas.org and ask about the group membership. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember for chiropractic in Texas. The work has just begun and we’re counting on you! Jeff Jenkins, CAE TCA Executive Director
