The holidays are almost here, and it’s not too early to start making New Year’s resolutions for 2025. As President of the Texas Chiropractic Association, I wanted to share a few of TCA’s resolutions for the coming year: 1. TCA will strive to make chiropractic stronger in Texas for you and all Texas chiropractors. The 89th Texas Legislative Session kicks off in January, and the TCA Legislative Affairs Committee is hard at work. We have created a powerful pro-chiropractic legislative agenda that, if successful, will benefit your practice and your patients. You can do your part by being a chiropractic advocate. Join us at TCA Legislative Day on Thursday, March 6, in Austin. It’s not too late to register, and invite your associates, staff, family, friends, and patients. Arriving in Austin the night before? Attend the TCA Legislative Day Kickoff Reception on Wednesday, March 5, at Bar AC. 2. TCA will provide quality education to help you be the best chiropractor you can be. Earn your CE hours at the 2025 TCA West Texas Conference the weekend of March 28-30. There will be several hands-on training workshops to fine-tune your skills, TBCE and acupuncture hours, a DIANM (neuromusculoskeletal diplomate) course, and the mandatory human trafficking course. You can attend in person at the Cotton Court Hotel in Lubbock, or log in from your own computer to attend virtually. Visit the conference webpage to register, learn about the speakers and sessions, and take advantage of early registration pricing. 3. TCA will continue to offer exclusive member benefits to help you and your business. Paying too much for health insurance? Consider group health sharing with Impact Health Sharing for lower premiums for you, your family, and your team. Among your member benefits are big savings on a wide range of products and services from our TCA Official Partners and TCA Affinity Partners. TCA is here for you, and we ask you to make a resolution of your own. If you’re not a TCA member, join today and sign up your associates, too. Encourage your colleagues to become TCA members. Membership in TCA is our ticket to greater advances for the chiropractic profession, and it starts with you! On behalf of the TCA Board of Directors, thank you for being part of our close-knit community. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones! J. Todd Whitehead, DC TCA President
