The countdown to Chiro Texpo ’24 is on! It’s one week until the Texas Chiropractic Association’s annual state convention on June 28-30 at the Hyatt Regency Frisco – Dallas. It’s not too late to attend … REGISTER NOW! It is going to be an incredible weekend, thanks to the efforts of our Education & Events Committee, staff, and dedicated volunteers. We continue to upgrade the quality of our speakers, and we are proud to welcome Roberto Monaco, DC, our keynote speaker, to the main stage. We also have a bonus program with the Parker Performance Institute. But at Chiro Texpo ’24, there’s so much more. Back by popular demand is the Adjust Lab, where you can get hands-on training with renowned instructors to fine-tune your skills. These sessions will be packed, so arrive early to save your spot! Don’t miss our Empowering Women in Chiropractic Luncheon to be inspired by your fellow female DCs. New this year is the Next Gen Lounge, which will be the hub of activity for new DCs and chiropractic students. Join us for some incredible Next Gen sessions – including our New Doc Seminar – The Business of Chiropractic – and, more importantly, make valuable connections to advance your career. We also have outstanding training for your chiropractic assistant and office staff to build a more cohesive team and more successful (and profitable) practice. You have so many choices, but that’s not a bad thing! Chiro Texpo ’24 is my final event as your TCA President. The past 12 months have gone fast, but it concludes with the President’s Gala, sponsored by TCA Platinum Partner J.D. Silva & Associates. TCA is a member-driven organization, and the gala is the occasion where we highlight our leaders, both current and past, who continue to push chiropractic forward in the Lone Star State. Find out who wins the prestigious Keeler Plaque – emblematic of the chiropractor of the year in Texas – as well as the Young Chiropractor of the Year and the honorees in other awards categories. There’s still time to purchase tickets, and a limited number will be available at the registration desk. This will be a party you don’t want to miss! I have one favor to ask. I want to personally thank you for your unwavering support over the past year. We have had some significant wins, including a legal victory that protected the right to perform chiropractic acupuncture and a long-needed pay raise for designated doctors. Lastly, please consider donating to the Chiropractic Development Initiative (CDI) and TCA Political Action Committee (TCA-PAC). TCA is a true team consisting of many volunteers and a small staff. I am so proud of our Board of Directors, Department Coordinators, Committee Chairs, and all of the volunteers who helped me during my tenure as TCA President. It has been my privilege to serve, and I encourage you to support our incoming Executive Officers, Drs. Todd Whitehead, Don White, and Andrew Oteo. TCA is in good hands for sure!
