The TCA Board of Directors recently elected Donald L. (Don) White, DC, FICC, as the 2023-24 TCA Secretary/Treasurer. Dr. White, who ran unopposed, will step into his role as a TCA executive officer at the conclusion of Chiro Texpo ’23, TCA’s annual convention, on June 23-25 at the Renaissance Dallas Addison. While moving up as TCA Secretary/Treasurer, Dr. White will join an executive team that includes Ryan Bailey, DC, of Abilene and Todd Whitehead, DC, of Amarillo, who will become TCA President and Vice President, respectively, this summer. “TCA has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I went to the TCA state convention every summer with my dad,” said Dr. White, the son of Dale White Jr., DC, FICC, a TCA Past President. “It’s humbling to be elected by my peers as a leader in my state association. TCA has achieved so much for chiropractic in Texas, and it’s an honor to represent my peers and the thousands of patients they impact every day. My goal is to build on the positive momentum we’ve created to make TCA and chiropractic stronger and more visible in the Lone Star State.” Dr. White, 42, has a long history with the Texas Chiropractic Association, serving in a number of roles at the district and state levels. Currently, he serves as TCA’s Government Affairs Department Coordinator and on the Financial Oversight & Budget Committee. Previously, he chaired the Legislative Affairs Committee and Membership Committee before being promoted to Internal Affairs Department Coordinator. He also served one term as the District 4 State Director on the TCA Board of Directors. A 2013 Parker University graduate, Dr. White’s contributions have been recognized, capturing the President’s Award, TCA District 4 Doctor of the Year Award, H. Ford Johnson Membership Award, and the prestigious Young Chiropractor of the Year Award in 2017-18. In addition, Dr. White has been heavily involved in the American Chiropractic Association and Parker University, his alma mater. Dr. White represents TCA as ACA’s West Texas Alternate Delegate and has served on ACA’s Legislative Advisory Committee, State Advocacy Committee and Membership Executive Task Force. He was honored as the inaugural ACA NextGen Ally Award winner in 2021. The Parker University Alumni Association named Dr. White Alumni of the Year in 2019. While in college, Dr. White also was heavily involved with ACA’s Student American Chiropractic Association and Parker’s Student TCA chapter. Dr. White runs River Oaks Chiropractic Clinic and White Integrated Health Clinics, PLLC, in River Oaks, near Fort Worth, with his father, Dale Jr., fulfilling a childhood dream. Dr. White and his wife, Valerie (Fletcher) White, DC, also a chiropractor, have two young sons.
