TCA Sets Record with Chiropractic Health Month Proclamations The Texas Chiropractic Association celebrated Chiropractic Health Month in a big way. TCA members racked up more than 60 proclamations from cities and towns across the Lone Star State in October. This was, by far, the most of any state and nearly double the number from TCA’s previous best. Way to go! A huge thank you to Governor Greg Abbott for issuing a statewide proclamation to kick things off, in addition to all the mayors, city council members, and local officials who raised public awareness of the importance of musculoskeletal health and the benefits of chiropractic care and its natural, whole-person, patient-centered and drug-free approach to health and wellness. With the opioid epidemic that is raging, chiropractic care is more relevant than ever. Check out the video from Dr. Andrew Oteo, TCA’s District 5 State Director and our PR/Communications Committee Chair. Under Dr. Oteo’s leadership, we received the following proclamations: On behalf of the Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association, a thank you to the State of Texas and the cities and towns that issued proclamations in October 2022.
