He is married to Shannon and his a son, Gavin, and daughter, Gentry How long have you been a member of TCA? I’ve been a member for eight years and served in a leadership role for five years. Why did you join TCA? I like to be involved with leadership in my profession and hope to make a difference to those who are new to the profession by setting a good example for the future. Political involvement is a good part of leadership in TCA, and I like getting to know the political side of professions better. The camaraderie that we have in TCA and the network of doctors that we can bounce off ideas and discuss issues we all face is great as well. What is your favorite thing about being a TCA member? I enjoy attending as many of the CE courses as I can, seeing fellow classmates from chiropractic school and networking with my colleagues. The events are usually a lot of fun and held in a fun atmosphere that my family loves to enjoy with me. I have gained many new friendships and we look forward to seeing each year. Why did you get involved as a TCA district leader? I like to be on the forefront of all that is going on in chiropractic and help out the rest of the chiropractors in our region of Texas to be a voice to the TCA. The network of leaders and friendships that have been gained through this have been an added plus. What’s your biggest professional accomplishment so far? Ultimately, the greatest gift/achievement from chiropractic is the ability to touch people’s lives through healing and be a voice of reason and understanding in sometimes the hardest times of pain and discomfort. I am especially proud that was I named TCA District 7 Chiropractor of the Year in 2019. What’s something about you (a fun fact) not many people know about you? I love to garden and do yard work. I have a very plush yard and enjoy time tending to the yard and garden on a daily basis. There is just something to be said for the stripes that a real mower lays down on the lawn and the end product looks amazing. What are you currently binge watching? I like to watch any type medical or first responder series, i.e. Chicago Fire/Chicago Med/ P.D., The Good Doctor, and New Amsterdam. If I am not in the mood for that, give me a good sports show, like All American. If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? I am not real sure who that would be. I have many influential people in my life that I would love to see their daily tasks and agendas and walk through those with them. I would love for some of my biggest supporters who have passed from this Earth to see the great things that I get to see on a daily basis, doing what I do and the impact they have made on me.
