Pablo Tagle, DC, is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiner. Dr. Tagle owns and operates two clinics in the Rio Grande Valley. He continues to broaden his knowledge to include all the latest state of the art chiropractic techniques and physical therapies to restore the body’s natural functioning system. This knowledge has helped his patients to reduce stress, decrease pain, and to allow them to enjoy a happy and healthier pain-free life. Growing up as an athlete, Dr. Tagle understands the nutritional needs as well as chiropractic needs for athletes of all ages. He has a strong background in nutrition and exercise physiology, which helps his patients reduce weight, giving them a more positive and fulfilling life. Dr. Tagle is an active member of TCA, serving as TCA District 12 Vice Director and Chair of the TCA Membership Committee. Why did you join TCA and why do you think every Texas chiropractor should be a TCA member? I joined TCA because I felt that it was important to contribute and be involved in the association that advocates and goes to fight for our rights as Texas chiropractors. I wanted to give back and be part of the solution and not just complain about the things that I felt were unjust about our profession. Every DC should be involved in TCA because the TCA is the organization that protects our profession and our livelihood. Not only does it support our profession but also the rights of our patients so that we as chiropractors can continue to provide the services that we do to the public. What is the most valuable member benefit of being a TCA member? The biggest benefit is the camaraderie of getting together with other chiropractors from across the state who are like-minded leaders. And, of course, getting more patient referrals for being part of TCA from all over the state is always a plus. Why did you decide to chair the Membership Committee and what is your group working on this year? I realized that in Texas we only have less than 20% of DCs who are TCA members. This is a huge disparity, especially when you compare the numbers to other professions that are involved with their state associations, such as medical doctors. We are pushing hard to educate the next generation of DCs why it is so important to be involved in TCA. We also are pushing hard to show all chiropractors the fun things that we are doing in TCA across all social media platforms. If they are currently not involved, maybe they will consider becoming a TCA member in the future. Why did you get involved as a TCA district and state leader? I am lucky enough to have been blessed with certain natural talents in life, one of which is being a leader. I am very passionate about my profession, and I believe I can help lead and make a positive impact in our association. What’s your biggest professional accomplishment so far? I have worked hard enough to consistently grow my practice since 2008. Not only has my clinic grown, but we have expanded the number of employees and locations. We now have 27 employees and own three different businesses. What’s something about you (a fun fact) not many people know about you? I have a ridiculously good ability to cite movie quotes and remember who the artist of the most random music. What are you currently binge watching? Dahmer on Netflix. If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Probably Tony Robbins. I am a huge fan and would love to see how his mind works and analyzes life, people, wealth, and perspective to learn as much as I could for one day so I can become a better person.
