June is finally behind us and what a busy month it was. For TCA, much of our attention was focused on putting on Chiro Texpo ’20. Coronavirus forced TCA’s state convention to go virtual this year. While we missed the opportunity to connect with you in person in Frisco, our signature event was a huge success, with strong attendance and overwhelmingly positive feedback. For all the Texas chiropractors who attended our live sessions and/or took classes on-demand on our Sidecar platform, a big thank you! We appreciate you choosing your state association to complete your CE hours, even with so many options out there. When TCA made the difficult decision to go virtual, we opted to keep our original speaker line-up intact. That allowed us to deliver nationally recognized experts such as Drs. Brad Glowaki, Cindy Howard, Mitch Mally, Francis Murphy and Mitch Mally, to name just a few. We received lots of great comments on the speakers and sessions. If you attended, let us know what you think by sending an email to info@chirotexas.org. This information will be used to plan future TCA conferences. Pulling off an event of this magnitude with less than a month’s notice was no small feat. A big thank you to the following: 1) TCA Education & Events Committee – Kudos to Chairman Dr. Tucker Woods and the following committee members: Drs. Craig Benton, Jennifer Gardner, Jenna Hillman, Andrew Oteo, Alayna Pagnani-Gendron and Jose Simon! Please give them your business for backing TCA and Texas chiropractors. 4) TCA Staff – TCA is a lean and mean operation these days, and Chiro Texpo ’20 would not have been possible without the behind-the-scenes work of our TCA staffers, Janet Asghar and Andrea Howard. You two are amazing! 5) Sidecar – Finally, thank you to TCA Bronze Sponsor Sidecar, which hosted our live sessions and on-demand platform, in addition to providing the technical expertise to make the event happen. While Chiro Texpo ’20 is in the rear-view mirror, TCA staff and the Education & Events Committee is already hard at work planning for upcoming events, including Chiro Texpo ’21 on June 11-13, 2021, at the Delta Hotels Marriott Dallas Allen and the adjacent Watters Creek Convention Center in Allen. We hope to see you there! Summer is officially here! While COVID-19 has forced most us to shelter-in-place, we are eager to hold TCA events in the future.
